Marco was born on a cold and snowy night of December 1962 in Venice, Italy, where he still lives and works. After his high school graduation as mechanical engineer (“I can definitely affirm that for me school was useful in that it has made me clearly realise what i could never do.”) and some years spent in extemporaneous working experiences, ranging from ship-boy on a cargo to army officer, he finally saw the light and decided to make the most of his downplayed natural gift for drawing and take up a career as an illustrator. Marco‘s illustrations have been awarded from the Italian Art Directors Club, from the Italian and British associations of illustrators, have been published (among others) in the “American Illustration” annuals, in Luetzer‘s archive “200 Best Illustrators Worldwide” and in “Illusive, the best of contemporary illustration”...
